Kevin Mason has been promoted to Vice President, Product Development and Maintenance, where he will be responsible for all software R&D at Instec, coupled with managing extensive regulatory updates across all Instec products.

We conducted an extensive search and talked to a number of very qualified candidates, but Kevin’s breadth of experience with software architecture, the software development process, and project management made him the ideal candidate to lead Product Development.”

Mr. Mason has almost 30 years of experience in the technology industry, primarily with consulting firms such as Cincinnati Bell Information Systems, SHL Systemhouse, and He has extensive experience implementing distributed systems covering both client/server and Internet based architectures. Recently he has focused on the software development process, and in particular project management and risk mitigation.
